The temporary bridge housing accommodations located on Westgate Road is funded by BC Housing to provide support to people who formerly experienced homelessness. This initiative arose in response to the need for physical distancing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which reduced capacity in temporary shelters.
Who can stay at the temporary shelter accommodations?
These accommodations are open to men and women who are at least 19 years old and who have experienced homelessness, or are temporarily in need of accommodation. Our focus is on supporting individuals who can be successful in a hotel setting and are working towards next steps in their lives. Everyone who stays at the temporary shelter accommodations is expected to comply with all house rules.

3 rooms reserved for COVID-19 isolation.
33 bridge housing rooms
Operating hours are: 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
